Restricting fashion.

I have been looking at how different styles of silhouette alteration, restricts the body movement.

The image on the left is by Hussein Chalayan for his autumn 2007, restricts the movement of the neck, however the dress is really strong and powerful even though it is in a plain colour.

The image on the right is by Viktor and Rolf, this also restricts the movement of the neck but in a different way, instead of using strong material it uses layers of soft fabric.
